NEW BOHEMIA

NEW BOHEMIA
A wedding study in Singapore

Why not a bouquet like a torch? Why not knot a garland from tropical leaves? Why not keep something simply because you love it?

Created with The Wildest Group, Sayher Heffernan, Arly Co. and Furniche, New Bohemia explored a freer, more personal expression of wedding traditions. There was room for sentiment, for the quirky and folksy, for choices that needed no explanation.

Tropical leaves became a giant chunky ceremonial knot, with flowers gathered into playful, abstract forms. Heliconia made a torch-like bouquet. Orchids circled the wrists as corsages.

Summer dahlias and orchids filled a table in pickle green and amethyst. Clashing colours, eclectic furniture and an abundance of flowers sat alongside traditional attire, each with its own reason for being there.
