TERMS OF SERVICE
These terms apply to purchases made through the This Humid House website. By placing an order or registering for an education programme, you agree to them.
Bespoke services, including weddings, events, floral accounts, commissions and landscape design, are covered by separate proposals or agreements.
1. ORDERS AND PAYMENT
All prices are in Singapore dollars (SGD) and include prevailing GST where applicable.
Full payment is required at purchase. Orders and programme registrations are confirmed only once payment has been received.
Prices and availability may change without notice.
2. FLORAL ORDERS
Availability and Substitutions
Botanical materials vary naturally in colour, form, size and availability. Website images represent an arrangement’s character, scale and format, rather than the exact arrangement you will receive.
Our designers select materials according to availability. Where necessary, we may make substitutions without prior notice, retaining the arrangement’s intended character and value.
Cancellations and Refunds
Floral orders are final and non-refundable once placed.
If you receive an incorrect order or have concerns about your arrangement’s condition or quality on delivery, please contact our floral concierge team as soon as possible. Include photographs where possible to help us assess the issue.
Any replacement, credit or refund offered will be at This Humid House’s discretion.
3. DELIVERY
Complimentary islandwide delivery in Singapore is included in the listed price of floral arrangements and subscriptions.
Standard delivery is between 2pm and 5pm, Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays.
For delivery outside these days or hours, please contact our floral concierge team. Requests are subject to availability and may incur an additional charge.
We cannot deliver to P.O. Box addresses.
Delivery Information
Please provide the recipient’s full name, contact number and complete address, including any unit number and access instructions. The recipient should be contactable and available during the confirmed delivery window.
If incorrect or incomplete information prevents delivery, This Humid House is not responsible for the failed delivery. Additional delivery or re-delivery costs may be charged to you.
Unattended Deliveries
If the recipient is unavailable, our courier will attempt to contact them using the details provided.
If they cannot be reached, the arrangement may be left at the door, reception, concierge or another suitable location at the delivery address, where reasonably possible. Delivery will then be considered complete.
Floral arrangements are perishable and sensitive to heat and environmental conditions. This Humid House is not responsible for deterioration, damage, loss or theft after an arrangement has been left unattended because the recipient was unavailable or unreachable.
4. SUBSCRIPTIONS
Subscriptions include a set number of arrangements, valid for one year from purchase. The number, format and savings are stated on the product page at the time of purchase.
Each arrangement includes complimentary standard delivery in Singapore. Deliveries must be scheduled in advance with our floral concierge team, are subject to availability and follow the standard delivery days and hours above.
Subscriptions are non-refundable. Individual arrangements cannot be exchanged for cash, refunded or transferred to another subscription.
All arrangements must be used within the one-year validity period. Unused arrangements are forfeited when the subscription expires.
Each arrangement is our designer’s choice, composed with the botanical materials available at the time. Arrangements will vary between deliveries.
Additional promotional discounts do not apply unless otherwise stated.
5. WORKSHOPS AND EDUCATION PROGRAMMES
Registration and Attendance
Registration is confirmed upon receipt of full payment.
Unless the programme page states otherwise, places are registered to the named participant and are non-refundable and non-transferable. They cannot be transferred or resold.
If you cannot attend all or part of a programme, you are not entitled to a refund, credit, replacement session or transfer to another programme.
Programme Information
Dates, times, locations, inclusions and recommended experience levels are stated on each programme page.
Where circumstances require, we may make reasonable changes to content, schedules, facilitators, locations or activities, provided these do not materially alter the programme’s overall nature.
Any programme-specific terms stated on the programme page at purchase also form part of your registration terms.
International Programmes
Unless expressly included in the programme fee, you are responsible for arranging and paying for flights, visas, travel insurance, accommodation, ground transportation and other personal travel expenses.
You are also responsible for holding the necessary travel documents and meeting the destination’s entry requirements.
This Humid House is not responsible for losses resulting from your inability to travel or attend, including changes in personal circumstances, travel disruption, visa issues or entry requirements.
Cancellation or Rescheduling by This Humid House
If we cancel a programme, we will refund the programme fees paid directly to This Humid House.
If we reschedule a programme, we will offer you a place on the revised dates. If you cannot attend those dates, we will refund the programme fees paid directly to us.
We are not responsible for travel, accommodation or other personal expenses associated with a cancelled or rescheduled programme. We strongly recommend appropriate travel insurance for programmes requiring travel.
For programmes booked and paid for through an external partner, that partner’s booking and cancellation terms apply.
6. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
Unless otherwise stated, website and education programme content belongs to This Humid House or the respective rights holder. This includes text, photographs, illustrations, course materials, presentations and other original materials.
Workshop materials are provided for personal learning. They may not be reproduced, distributed, published, taught, sold or used for commercial training without prior written permission.
Participants remain the authors of work they create during our programmes.
7. FORCE MAJEURE
This Humid House is not liable for failure or delay in fulfilling an order, delivery or programme caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control. These may include severe weather, natural disasters, transport disruption, government restrictions, public health emergencies, civil disturbance or other unforeseen events.
If these circumstances affect an education programme, we will notify registered participants of changes, postponement or cancellation as soon as reasonably possible.
8. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
We may update these terms from time to time. Your purchase is governed by the version published on our website when you place your order or register.
